Mad Men Style

I've never been one to watch much on TV, but I've got to admit to loving "Mad Men", mostly for it's visual style and authentic early 60s costuming.

My favorite character has got to be Joan; I especially love the way the designer has emphasized her curvaceous figure rather than trying to tame it. Undeniable sexy, figure hugging sheaths like this one make the most of her curves. Look for figure flattering dresses with seamed bodices in either deep scoop or V necklines.

How about this one in royal blue lace and satin. It has double sets of seaming front and back for a body hugging bombshell fit. Available in our Etsy store

Now technically this pattern is a couple of years too early, but it's ultra fitted design surely would do Joan proud. The V back and pleated details on the skirt give it extra special appeal.
